Medical Malpractice Suit Over Marvin Hamlisch’s Death

The widow of renowned composer Marvin Hamlisch filed suit claiming that the 68-year-old’s untimely death was a result of the medical malpractice of Defendants New York Presbyterian Hospital and Dr. David Cohen.The complaint, filed last week, seeks compensation for medical malpractice, wrongful death and loss of services, claiming that the mistreatment suffered by Mr. Hamlisch while he was in the patient care of the Defendants following a 2012 kidney transplant was the cause of his death.
