The plaintiff suffered life-threatening injuries, including compound fractures in his leg, compression lumbar fractures, nerve damage to his arm/shoulder and some degloving injuries..
In his lawsuit, the plaintiff is seeking damages for his injuries, medical expenses, lost wages, and pain and suffering. He is also seeking punitive damages against Jones Bros. Contractors, LLC.
The case is currently pending before U.S. District Judge William L. Campbell, Jr. A status conference has been scheduled for October 5, 2023.
