Believe the hype. Pick DRS Law. 2 years ago, after a catastrophic accident at work that left me with an awful facial scar, I called probably 15 attorneys. Every single one of them turned my case down. I had almost given up until I got ahold of Catherine at DRS. She actually gave a shit about what happened to me, which was a total 180 from the scripted BS I got elsewhere. She hooked me up with David A. Smith and—bam! What I thought was a hopeless case against a government entity was a walk in the park for him. Most of these high-profile firms are just "settlement mills" that run the second things get complicated, but David is a different breed. He’s a total shark in the room but treats you with genuine respect outside of it. He was easy to talk to, very understanding, and stayed on top of every detail. If he didn’t answer my call, he returned it promptly. I never felt like just another file number on a desk. Ultimately, I got exactly the result I was looking for. My life is changing in a massive, dramatic way because I made that call, and it’s still surreal.
